Your invitation to the
Australia Wine Dinner
Wednesday, May 14, 2008 - 7:00
Australia is the source for classic new world wines as
well as innovative wine blends and styles. This dinner
will showcase Shiraz, the great Aussie success story.
We'll also taste Grenache and some striking and
delicious white and red wine blends. Our tour will
include the Clare Valley, Barossa Valley, Yarra Valley
and the McLaren Vale, all celebrated names in quality
Australian wines. Nepenthe, Wolf Blass, Chateau Reynella,
Barossa Valley Estate and Greg Norman Estates are some
of the great wineries represented. The vintages range
from 2001 to 2006. Australia is a remarkable source for
both high value everyday wines and some of the most
coveted world-class wines made anywhere. The wines have
gotten raves from the critics. At this dinner, you may
discover your house wine for the summer or a special
occasion collectable for your cellar. Please join
innkeepers Frank and Marsha Whitman for an evening of
special wines and a mouth-watering menu by Chef Matt
Stein. Peter Cody of Hartley & Parker will lead the
discussion of the wines. Kick off summer with wine, food
and friends at Silvermine!
